Description
Definition Water parcels in which fish meroplankton are the perceived dominant feature. Fish go through several larval stages as they progress from embryo to juvenile. Unlike many phyla, most of these stages do bear some resemblance to the adult (they are fish-like); nonetheless, the taxonomy of fish larvae is a specialized skill.
